With its extremely short set-up times and mobility, the ALM laser welder allows a vast range of machine components, pressing tools and large molds to be repaired and modified at any location.
True Mobility and Flexibility
The ALM offers maximum flexibility by adapting to your workflow: you can bring the laser to the workpiece, or the workpiece to the laser. In many cases, this negates the need to dismantle large molds, saving significant time and effort. The ALM ensures seamless mobility whether operating within your company or at a customer’s facility.
Fast Setup and Ergonomic Reach
The laser is ready for use within minutes. The slim laser arm can be quickly positioned and fixed in the desired working location using electrohydraulic brakes. Once in position, these hydraulic brakes fix the laser beam exactly where you need it.
To reach virtually any point on the workpiece without requiring arduous maneuvering, the ALM is equipped with a laser head that can rotate left and right. Further enhancing its reach, the unique, optional turn and tilt objective allows the user to continuously move the laser beam up to from the vertical in any direction. Focusing lenses with various focal distances and a rotatable microscope further facilitate economical and comfortable working.
Advanced Control and Operation
The ALM allows for versatile welding control: you can weld manually with the joystick, semi-automatically, or via an external operating unit with a pulse function.
The laser device is equipped with a powerful, application-optimized SPC (System Parameter Control) featuring new functions. The user coordinate control is programmable within a generous range of .
Finally, the ALM simplifies maintenance and setup because it is air cooled, meaning it requires no additional external cooling system.
